COLUMBIA Hickman’s cross country team finished off its 2011 high school cross country season at the Class 4 Sectional 3 meet in Camdenton on Saturday.

The boys team placed seventh overall. Senior Devin Sander took fourth place of 77 runners in 15:40.

Junior Nicole Mello won the 5K race overall in 17:57. Mello has placed first in all six meets she has competed in this season.

Sophomore Becca Katz came in 53rd in 21:56. There were 75 runners competing in the girls 5K.

This was Kewpies’ final meet of the cross country season. The team graduates two seniors,Werder Bremen shirt, Devin Sander and Bobby Hanson.
